We've all seen them -- two giant halves of prefab or mobile homes being taken down the highway on the back of a flatbed trailer. An advantage of prefab homes is the assembly at the homeowners end takes very little time and you can be living in the home quickly. There are most likely regulations about what kind of a prefab home you may erect (or possibly not at all) so check with your city or county first, before contacting a manufacturer. If your prefab home is a mobile home, then all you have to do is have it placed on your lot and you will be up and running in practically no time at all!
