Contractors -- Call in the Pros so they can build it Strong!
Contractors are a vital part of residential and commercial infrastructures. If you are a homeowner seeking a contractor to build or renovate your house, then do check all credentials and references and make sure that the person or company has a proper license. Do not use a contractor because a friend down the street used one and he or she "was ok". Make sure you have a written contract that spells out how much is to be paid, and when, and put a few milestones in writing too. You don't want to pay for a new bathroom, for instance, that was supposed to take two weeks, and it's been 6 months since you were able to take a shower! Also, if the contractor is using subcontractors then make sure that the head contractor will be there often to check up on progress and see how the subs are doing. You want good value for your money, and you are entitled to it.
