Garage Doors -- Up & Down & Around We Go

Garage doors are made for single, double or triple garages. Anything bigger (and even with a triple) the doors may come in sections so that each bay of the garage is separate. This would be the case if someone has a large multi-stall garage for their collector cars, for instance. Doors open and close by means of a track. They are quite like an automated metal window shade in that respect. Most garage doors now have openers which you can keep in your car or in the house. Modern garage doors are made from aluminum most of the time, for weather resistance and longevity and looks, and weight. Old garage doors used to be manually-operated and made from wood. Walking around a retail store and looking at garage doors that way will most likely be pointless. They are large and often not even displayed in stores.
