Lighting -- Inside & Out, We Need Lights

If it's dark, let there be lighting! Ever since humans invented electricity, we have used it for as many things that we could think of. Some might say it's overused, but after its invention, we won't be going back to torches on the walls. Lighting outside down by your garden path can be solar powered and this is an easy installation because all you need to do is push stakes into the ground and nature will take care of the rest. Inside, it's anyone's game. Lights can be in the ceiling, on the walls, under cabinets and on tables and by chairs. Lamps are made from hundreds of materials and their shades are equally as varied in type and shape and material and properties. As long as there has been both gas and electric lighting, there have been artists and craftspeople to make a wide variety of lighting. Lamps can be made from deer antlers and Tiffany glass and vellum and paintings on parchment and colored glass. Bulbs are, these days, usually either curly bulbs or "green" fluorescent ones.
